Data and confidentiality

Is Teleutias a Swiss product?

Yes. Teleutias is developed in Ticino and designed specifically for the Swiss context: the nFADP, professional secrecy, business systems common in Switzerland (Infoniqa ONE, Odoo) and IT/DE/FR/EN multilingualism. Installation takes place at the client's premises, in Switzerland, on their own infrastructure.

Do our documents end up on ChatGPT or similar services?

No. Teleutias runs language models locally, on the machine installed at your premises. No content is transmitted to external AI services. See Security & data.

Is our data used to train the models?

No. The local models are not trained on your content, nor is your content shared with third parties for training.

Is an internet connection required?

Only for the initial installation and for scheduled updates. Day-to-day operation is entirely offline, within your network.

Is it compatible with the Swiss nFADP (nLPD)?

The local architecture is designed precisely for contexts subject to the nFADP and professional secrecy: data never leaves your infrastructure. Overall compliance of the processing remains your responsibility as controller; on request we provide the technical description of the system for your documentation.

How it works

How is it different from ChatGPT or Copilot?

Three main differences: (1) your data stays in-house; (2) the assistants are configured for your sector, your business systems and your documentation; (3) the operational limits (no final decisions, no unverified calculations) are part of the configuration.

How 'smart' is it compared to the big cloud models?

Local models in the 8–14 billion parameter class are less powerful than the largest cloud models on open-ended, complex tasks. They are, however, more than adequate for the operational tasks Teleutias is configured for: document and log analysis, summaries, drafts, support on data formats. Specialisation compensates for size.

Can the assistant be wrong?

Yes, like any AI system. That is why every output is a proposal to be verified and the limits are part of the configuration. See Limits & responsibilities.

Can it write data into our business system?

In the standard configuration, no: it works read-only on files and documents you provide. Write integrations are possible as a dedicated project and always follow the preview → human validation → execute pattern.

Which languages does it work in?

Italian, German, French and English — both reading and writing.

Practical matters

How many users can use it?

The interface is multi-user with individual permissions. The number of simultaneous users depends on the hardware sizing; for a small-to-medium firm the reference configuration is adequate.

Do we need to install anything on our PCs?

No: it is used from the browser, within the company network.

Who handles maintenance?

Updates are scheduled and agreed: no automatic changes. Maintenance can take place on-site or over an encrypted remote channel that you can enable and revoke. See Requirements & installation.
