Limits & responsibilities

An AI assistant is a support tool, not a substitute for professional expertise. This page formalises Teleutias' limits — the same ones configured into the assistants' instructions.

The operating principle

It doesn't decide: it proposes.

Every output from Teleutias is a proposal to be verified: a draft, a hypothesis about a cause, a summary, a suggested procedure. Responsibility for the decision and its execution always remains with the operator or the competent professional.

Explicit limits

Area What Teleutias does not do
Accounting and tax It produces no final bookings, filings or tax assessments. It replaces neither the business system nor the advisor.
Payroll It does not calculate salaries, contributions or deductions on its own. Numeric values must always be checked against the certified business system.
Legal matters It provides no legal opinions. It can summarise and compare texts, but legal interpretation belongs to the professional.
Actions on systems In the standard configuration it writes no data into business systems. Any write integrations follow the preview → human validation → execute pattern, without exception.
Sending and signing It sends no emails, transmits no filings, signs no documents.

Technical limits to be aware of

  • Language models can be wrong. Even a well-configured model can state incorrect things with a confident tone. This is why every assistant is instructed to flag uncertainty and defer to human verification on critical points.
  • Arithmetic is not their trade. Relevant calculations must be performed by the business system or verified by the operator; the assistant is instructed not to present its own calculations as final.
  • Quality depends on the knowledge base. The assistant answers well on what is documented; on what isn't, it can only reason in general terms. Keeping the loaded documentation up to date is part of using the system well.

Good practices for users

  1. Treat every answer as the draft of a well-prepared junior colleague: useful, but to be re-read.
  2. Never paste credentials or passwords into the assistant (it doesn't need them and must not need them).
  3. Report wrong or misleading answers: configurations are tuned on these cases too.
  4. When in doubt on a tax, payroll or legal matter, the final word belongs to the competent professional — not to the assistant.
